Google Universe

Google is an amazing and friendly search engine. I use a number of products that Google offers, I have a Gmail account, I use Google Maps and Google Earth, Images, YouTube, where you can watch videos and learn how to make things like crafts and new foods. Google Translate has helped me a few times at the circulation desk when customers did not speak English. This is only a small part of the products I use and there are many others to explore. When I checked the Google product list to complete this assignment, I found some tools that I have never paid attention to before, for example Trends (my son showed it to me), Googledocs, and the Calendar feature. I am interested in learning about it.

Facebook

I have had a facebook account for a couple of years now, because my cousin invited me to be her "friend". My first negative reaction on the Facebook was when I first registered, I was overwhelmed with amount of people who wanted to be my friend. But after sorting all of the names, I ended up finding people that I continue communicate with. I don't use Facebook very often, but it is a decent way to check what is going on with your friends and family.

Wikipedia

Wikipedia is one of my favorite tools. It is often my starting point on research topics.
As a part of the assignment I edited the article about the city where I was born, but the next day the old information had come back.

Delicious. What is it?

At first sight it looks a little busy, but once you get used to Delicious, it is convenient and easy to use.
You can organize, share, sort and bundle sites in a practical way.
I will definitely promote Delicious to our customers.

Blogs

I want to learn about technology because the world is changing into a place where it's extremely important to know and understand the use of it.
I am really looking forward to complete this course because I want to be able to help people with their How-To questions.
